Coulee DSA’s chapter meetings loosely follow “Robert’s Rules.” Robert’s Rules is a relatively simple system for conducting fair and orderly meetings, and facilitating voting on important proposals and issues.
Robert’s Rules is particularly useful when we find discussion dragging on and we are unable to reach full consensus. In that case, Robert’s Rules is used to facilitate decision-making for the group. Below is a cheat sheet:
